An introduction to the ICCCVA:

The Interfaith Cooperation Circle of Central Virginia is a group of individuals living in and around Charlottesville, Virginia who share a common desire to work to create a world of peace, understanding and unity.

Our local “cooperation circle” has participants from several different religions and spiritual expressions who enjoy sharing perspectives as we explore topics of a philosophical nature. We are committed to creating a more peaceful, just and sustainable world, promoting a culture of friendship and tolerance, and increasing interfaith cooperation locally and globally. In addition to our monthly discussion group, we watch movies, share food and plan events and celebrations in a local effort to create a world-wide culture of peace. All are welcome to participate.

We are the central Virginia affiliate of the United Religions Initiative, an extraordinary global community committed to promoting enduring, daily interfaith cooperation and to ending religiously motivated violence. Today the URI includes thousands of members in over 65 countries representing more than 100 religions, spiritual expressions, and indigenous traditions.
