Join us for the film “Renewal”

a documentary about religious-environmental activism.
(Sunday, May 2, 2010 from 2 – 5 PM)

The Interfaith Cooperation Circle of Central VA and the Eco-Justice Group of Sojourners United Church of Christ of Charlottesville will host the film Renewal on Sunday May 2, 2010 from 2-5 pm. Renewal is a feature-length documentary that captures the vitality and diversity of today’s religious-environmental activists. From within their Christian, Jewish, Buddhist and Muslim traditions, Americans are becoming caretakers of the Earth. With great courage, these women, men and children are re-examining what it means to be human and how we live on this planet. You are warmly invited to attend this 90 minute film and participate in a Listening Circle to share your thoughts about the issues arising from the film. Refreshments provided. Contributions welcome. Sojourners Church is located at 1017 Elliott Ave, Charlottesville, VA. For more information call Deborah Povich at (434)990-4220.
